The Dyslexia Teacher CD Learning Programme

The programme consists of 6 CD Roms, which are also available on one DVD, comprising five incremental levels of learning and a supplement to the first two levels for those who require extra practice at the basics. The programme represents a structured rule-based, multi-sensory phonics approach to the learning of reading and spelling.
Each incremental level contains 22 individual lessons and the supplement contains a further 12 sections of varied revisions and exercises. The programme provides a strong foundation for literacy skills and a structured progression from the easy to the more complex in an easy-to-follow format. There is a facility to get extra help from Dyslexia Teacher when needed and the CD Rom for each level of the programme is available for purchase individually.
The CDs are available for purchase now at a cost of GB £40 each. The complete set, either on individual CDs or on DVD, is available at an all-in price of GB £200

Possible indicators of dyslexia.
If you think that you or someone you know may be dyslexic check through the list of possible indicators below
Please note that this is not a definitive list. People matching some of the indicators may not necessarily be dyslexic nor may people that are dyslexic match all of the indicators. It is simply a guide to the potential for dyslexia. The only way to know for sure is for the person to be professionally assessed.
This could be done by an educational psychologist (at a cost of several hundred pounds), which might carry some weight with some local education authorities, however, it should be borne in mind that it is not always in the best interests of local education authorities to recognise learning difficulties as they then are obliged to provide for treatment. It may also take a very long time.

In the first instance, a more practical, and certainly a quicker way is to send for an assessment pack from Dyslexia Teacher which can be completed in the comfort of your own home and returned for full evaluation and confidential report by Ann Bate, an extremely experienced practitioner in this field. Cost of test pack and assessment - £100
As this causes much less stress for the individual than a formal appointment in an educational psychologist’s office the results are more likely to reflect the true level of any problem that there may be.

Read through the list and, if you believe that there is any cause for concern, send for your Assessment Pack below.
